Hi!
I read the 98-99 pages of the book Research Methods in Education by Louis Cohen and Lawrence Manion. The explanation given about the accessibility of a sample is simple & well supported with examples. Thanks for the source

The 3 examples of problems that the researcher might face in accessing the samples are:
- If a researcher was to research on the after effects of punishment
of juvenile delinquents on their scholastic achievements, then the probable accessibility problem, may be that the parents of those samples may not be willing to share any information with anyone, as it is a crime & has a social stigma attached to it. - If a researcher was to conduct a research on the new upcoming technologies in XYZ mobile phones that could be used for distance learning, then the company may not be willing to disclose it's upcoming technologies to the researcher.
- If a researcher was to conduct a research on the emotional intelligence of children in broken homes. It becomes necessary for the researcher to study the home conditions first, in such cases the parents may not be available for taking the data & also it may happen that the parents would not allow the child be taken for any research work.
- If a researcher was to conduct a research on the effectiveness of the induction training cai packages of ABC developers on the trainees,
the accessibility problem that may arise is that they may be busy with their work & would not be free for the researcher.
